David aims crochet onslaught at Heinz rival

In Brazil, it seems, grannies like their Hellmann’s mayo so Heinz is trying to butt in with a multi-media campaign designed to appeal to the older demographic – featuring crochet.

The ‘Grandma’s Darling’ campaign was created by Agency David São Paulo which says the crochet pieces are a “deeply emotional and cultural symbol” in Brazil.

Nice ads anyway.
