CHI’s Golding unveils ‘Bitcoin Bonus’ to drive machine magic
IPA President Sarah Golding is conducting a crusade to make the business love those dreaded machine functions, such as AI, or at least co-exist with them more comfortably.
Now her agency CHI&Partners is launching a ‘Magic & The Machines’ competition awarding the team that “helps drive change in the advertising industry by using technology in a new and inspiring way.”
The prize is £10,000, to be awarded in December 2018, but, appropriately, it’s in bitcoins. These little devils have increased in value substantially in the last two years so CHI has wisely purchased its ‘Bitcoin Bonus’ already.
Earlier this year Golding (below) hired James Miller from Facebook’s Creative Shop to help CHI launch its own new-style production company The Kitchen which aims to harness augmented reality, virtual reality and 360-degree technology.
Golding says: “We are on the lookout for the next generation of industry innovators and the Bitcoin Bonus is a great incentive for all those brilliant thinkers at CHI who can help us break new boundaries in creative innovation. This is a special bonus – for ideas that use technology in a new and inspiring way, that blend magic and the machines, that capture imaginations, solve problems and get our clients talked about in new ways that are transformative to their businesses.”
But can you spend them down the pub?
