Golin and MullenLowe have combined for this new Magnum Double/Moschino campaign – ‘release the beast’ – featuring the world’s most valuable eyebrows and some promising cartoon beasts. The beasts will feature on some Moschino bags, no doubt at a beastly price.
It’s nice enough but nothing happens. Is that a time constraint? When you’re coming across all mean and moody thirty seconds isn’t very long. But not many of this year’s ads are. Is Trevor Beattie’s prediction that all ads will eventually be five seconds actually coming to pass?
One of the reasons Spike Jonze’s Kenzo epic is so good is that something does happen.
