MullenLowe lures first group CCO Patterson from BBH

MullenLowe London has hired its first group CCO – Ewan Patterson who joins after a storied career at BBH Sport, DDB Chicago, CHI (now The&Partnership) and DDB London.

Patterson will work alongside CEO Jeremy Hine and CSO Ayesha Walawalkar (all below, Patterson right.). Acting CCO Jose Miguel Sokoloff, reverts to his previous role as MullenLowe global CCO.

Mullenlowe has had a good pandemic, creating the UK government’s heavyweight NHS communications.

Patterson says: “Creative, media (MullenLowe MediaHub) and CX in one team with a great client list was the attraction. All the people I met made it a no-brainer.”

CEO Hine says: “Ewan will be a fantastic addition to the team. Bringing in someone of his calibre and experience clearly demonstrates our creative ambitions. His passion for the work is infectious.”

MullenLowe is owned by Interpublic. After some ups and downs in London it is now certainly on a par with IPG sibling FCB Inferno and, if it can build on its NHS success, may even challenge the mighty McCann.
