Is P&G reaching compassion fatigue with LGBT ‘Pause?’

P&G’s at it again, this time with ‘The Pause’ from Grey New York describing the three seconds or so that LGBTQ people (the ‘Q’ seems to stand for queer or questioning) take before describing themselves to others. For Pride Month.

Is there a point with these where compassion fatigue (if compassion’s the right word – it probably isn’t) kicks in?

It’s not Pride’s fault that its annual month in the spotlight has coincided with Black Lives Matter and Covid-19.

But couldn’t we have something a bit, um, livelier?
