CPB, Crispin Porter+Bogusky as was) is one of the flagships of embattled holding group MDC Partners but it seems to be making waves of a different kind now that founder Alex Bogusky is back, rejoicing in the title of chief creative engineer.
Alex is into wrestling it seems, among other things challenging Gary Vayner of VaynerMedia to a bout. And here’s his Twitter report of a CPB “holiday wrestling party,” a way to help CPB employees “let their freak flag fly.”
Our pro wrestling holiday party was weird even for us. But there was method in the madness. You don’t have to act normal at @cpbgroup. Creativity thrives when you can be yourself. Like I told the agency after the party, “CPB is a place where you can let your freak flag fly." ? pic.twitter.com/V7rufafrUa

It take a lot of front to pull off stunts like this and nobody could accuse Bogusky of lacking that (although this and others may drive my friend George Parker of Adscam to an early potato vodka.)
Is Alex the man to revive CPB owner MDC, as CEO maybe? It’s looking for one. If Elon Musk can do it…
What a load of old bollocks. Fuck wrestling (It’s all fake anyway) Get producing some decent ads. You used to do that years ago. Before CPB became CPB+ Freaky indeed!
