Land Rover celebrates 70th birthday with car-free ad
Land Rover is celebrating its 70th with a diverting campaign from jointly-owned agency Spark44. This one (sans a Land Rover) with a cast of children telling us “we don’t need to grow old inside.”
Which, presumably, we demonstrate by getting a job in the City and driving a bloody great SUV through suburban streets.
One of the new Range Rovers was described somewhere as a “manor house on wheels.” But they’re undoubtedly desirable.
Saw a sequence of Land Rover ads in free newspaper City AM (see above) the other day including some notable blasts from the past including this one from Y&R London.
The new campaign? See the point of missing the point (they’re great big expensive cars) but…
