The UK government’s Think! campaign aimed at combating drink driving has had many successes from good agencies, most notably AMV BBDO.
So the bar’s set pretty high for new agency Y&R which, instead of showing us damaged bodies and cars, features a friend preventing his drunken pal from going out and killing himself/others. Based on a scene in the Patrick Swayze film Ghost it seems, although you don’t need to know that.
Directed by Y&R’s Jim Bolton in-house, which is a sign of the way the industry is moving.
Jim has delivered though.
