Perrier revisits Goude’s celebrated lion for new “fines bulles”

It’s brave, even foolhardy, to remake a classic commercial – Pepsi made a hash of it at the Super Bowl – but Ogilvy Paris has done just that for Perrier, revisiting Jean Paul Goude’s famous ‘Lion’ from 1990.

Perrier now comes with “fines bulles” so Johnny Green’s new effort has a girl and a lion cub.

Will people remember the original ad? No doubt they’ll be reminded.

Perrier’s new effort? 8.

Goude’s from all those years ago? We’ve never had a 10 and we’re not about to start now.
