Rocket wins £15m Freeview media

Freeview, the UK’s biggest TV platform, has awarded its £15m media account to Rocket. Rocket is part of Omnicom’s five-strong line-up of media agencies in the UK.

Rocket now lines up with creative agency Anomaly and digital shop NMPi. Freeview could be a challenging account as Anomaly is always likely produce something that pushes boundaries. Last year’s campaign included 400 mini-films.

Freeview marketing director Owen Jenkinson says: “After a highly competitive pitch, Rocket impressed us by demonstrating their strategic smarts, planning expertise and what great fun people they are. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with them.”
