Mothers’ goodbye tour for Boots continues with new No 7

Mother seems to be making more ads for Boots since it lost the account to Ogilvy and WPP – the result of a procurement-driven deal with Walgreens Boots Alliance – than it did before. Maybe Boots here are less than pleased with this turn of events and are busily shifting the budget as rapidly as possible.

Has it made the Christmas commercial yet? It’s had more farewells than Frank Sinatra.

Anyway here’s a diverting number for Boots No 7 make-up, featuring a fencer with a mask that (mostly) keeps the make-up under wraps.

Mother is classy mode, where it’s best I think.
