Boots has signed Nigerian novelist Chimamanda Adichie as the “new face” of its venerable No 7 cosmetic range – which is a pretty dramatic move up the market – and here she is explaining what an intellectual thinks of make-up in the latest instalment of the ‘Ready’ campaign from Mother.
Ticks all the boxes and then some. And it’s a nice film.
Is it entirely convincing though? Jury’s out on that one.
