International production agency Oliver Group is expanding in the UK by opening a Manchester office.
Oliver says the new office, in Salford Quays, home to the BBC and numerous production businesses and led by MD Nic Morris, will act as a “specialist hub in SEO and digital.” Oliver places creative and production teams in client offices. Manchester founder clients include KPMG, financial services firm Wesleyan, hotel group Carlson Rezidor and Scottish soft drinks firm AG Barr.
It also won’t have escaped Oliver’s attention that Manchester is home to many big retail businesses, including the Co-op.
Oliver global CEO Simon Martin (left) says: “Manchester‘s economy is as big as Ireland’s. It’s also one of the most creative and innovative places in the UK, with its world-class universities and pool of highly talented individuals. When you add in its transport links to Leeds, Birmingham and Scotland, it’s clear this is a hugely exciting opportunity in Oliver’s expansion and growth.
“The decision to launch in Manchester has followed a period of global growth for the business. In the UK alone we now employ 850 people – a figure we expect to rise as we look to the local area to recruit new talent.”
Oliver currently has offices in London, Dublin, France, Germany, Netherlands, USA, Singapore and Australia.
