New London creative shop Faster Horses debuts with Uniqlo Oxford Street revamp
Former Karmarama creative directors Sam Walker (right) and Joe De Souza are launching a new creative shop called Faster Horses.
Operating as a ‘bolt-on’ creative department, Faster Horses says it will provide creative strategy as well as execution. Its first work for Uniqlo’s flagship Oxford Street store in London breaks this week (below). The revamp, aimed at creating a ‘cultural hub,’ also includes partnerships with Tate Modern and NTS Radio.
Walker and De Souza are working with a range of partners including third party production, design, digital and experiential companies to deliver multi-channel campaigns.
Walker and De Souza say: “The ambition for Faster Horses is to be an agile, highly experienced creative resource not just for established brands and agencies but for start-ups, post-production houses, media and PR companies – and anyone else looking to make an impact with exceptional creative work.”
The duo’s work includes the ‘God Only Knows’ film launching BBC Music in 2015. Walker and De Souza left Karmarama in August 2015 having previously worked at Fallon.
London is, finally, seeing some interesting new agencies (or creative companies). Judging by their Uniqlo debut (we’ll give it 7) Faster Horses could be another one.
