First Utility is a wannabe UK electricity provider, claiming to undercut the ‘big six’ energy producers by buying cheaper on wholesale markets. It has a deal with Shell, among others.
So agency VCCP has taken the brave step of producing a campaign that starts off like the usual, and all too common, corporate guff (featuring unicorns, shades of Lloyds’ black horse), ‘HD Energy’ and the like before pricking the balloon to say that was all nonsense, First Utility is just cheaper.
Teeters a bit but gets there.
