We know you some of you like a bit of Sir Martin Sorrell – well here’s a lot. Here he is talking about WPP’s strategy (again, but it’s quite interesting) at an IAA Leadership Forum held in London in June.
Some readers may be surprised to see that he looks like he’s been beamed down from Mars, being a luminous shade of green. Think that’s the lighting but we’ll check.
Interesting also that ‘data investment management,’ which he acknowledges is a fancy name for research, is in there are as one of the key planks of WPP’s growth. Even though, judging by recent results, it doesn’t actually make that much money and it certainly isn’t growing.
