Virgin Money has popped up with the second instalment of its ‘There’s money – and there’s Virgin Money’ campaign through The&Partnership’s m/SIX, which we all thought was a media agency but which is clearly a multi-tasker.
It’s clever, another example of the way companies associated with Richard Branson’s Virgin empire manage to position themselves as ‘alternative,’ even when, like Virgin Trains and the even more ghastly Virgin Media, they’re not.
The first one featured a pigeon, this time it’s a tortoise on a skateboard.
The pigeon was better, a tortoise (an endangered species, of course) on a skateboard is a bit obvious, in an advertising kind of way.
