Hudson Rouge’s Lincoln campaign wins the Oscar for most-spoofed ad

Thanks to all my friends in America who’ve been peppering me with Lincoln ad spoofs.

To recall, WPP’s new ‘Hudson Rouge’ agency for Ford-owned Lincoln blew about ten years of ad budget signing up Matthew McConaughey for this existential epic to launch the Lincoln MKC SUV.

Here’s just one of the many spoofs – Jim Carrey for Saturday Night Live.

And also Ellen Degeneres.

Suppose it’s fame of a sort for Hudson Rouge.

Apparently Lincoln sales went through the roof following the Carrey spoof. Funny old world…
