Maxus wins L’Oreal Nordics account from PHD
WPP media agency Maxus, which last week replaced global CEO Vikram Sakhuja with the UK’s Lindsay Pattison, has successfully built on its key relationship with L’Oreal by adding the beauty giant’s business in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland to the business it already handles in the UK, Ireland and Southeast Asia.
Maxus won L’Oreal’s £135m Uk media account from Publicis Groupe’s ZenithOptimedia a year ago. the Nordic business moves from Omnicom’s PHD.
L’Oreal’s Nordic countries general manager Mark Prestwich says: “We have had a strong and productive relationship with PHD since 2011, but believe now is the moment for change. The media landscape is evolving rapidly. It challenges us to innovate and find new ways of connecting with consumers. We believe that Maxus are the agency most capable of navigating our business through this period of transformation.”
