Grey Scorpion’s Roy Jeans buys into get me media
Former Rapport global CEO Roy Jeans (left), now running media consultancy Grey Scorpion, has invested in UK search engine get me media and been appointed an executive director of the rapidly-growing company which is backed by IBIS Media and other investors.
Get me media is a search engine and exchange that brings together relevant marketing, media and sponsorship ideas with potential buyers from companies within the marketing and agency world.
Get me media works with more than 600 companies, including media owners, agencies and advertisers including Sky Media, Bauer Media, Diageo, Green Flag, Tick Tock Tea and Quercus Books. It connects media owners with over 15,000 individuals from top UK advertisers including Nestle, XBox and McDonald’s registered to use the site.
Jeans says: “I knew about get me media from being a client and understood the added value it can offer advertisers, agencies and media owners. The company is starting work on a new platform, and it’s an incredibly exciting time to be getting involved in shaping the product offering going forwards.”

Jeans, who also headed IPG media agencies Magna and Initiative before Rapport, founded Grey Scorpion last year. the consultancy also works for Brilliant Basics, TNT Post, Info Cubed and Symbiosis.
