W+K London wins Brown-Forman’s Chambord
Brown-Forman has appointed Wieden+Kennedy London as the global lead creative agency for its Chambord brand, including above the line, digital and social communications.
Chambord joins a collection of other Brown-Forman brands at the agency including Finlandia Vodka, Southern Comfort and Maximus Vodka, which the agency won in 2012.
Chambord is a black raspberry liqueur from France presented in an orb-shaped bottle. W+K will launch an integrated brand campaign this summer that will start in the UK in July before rolling out in other markets including the USA, Australia and Germany.
Brown–Forman global marketing director for Vodka and Chambord Alex Sneen says: “We have developed a strong working relationship with Wieden+Kennedy through their work on Maximus and Finlandia Vodka and are now very pleased to be extending this to Chambord. Wieden+Kennedy are known for challenging clients with brave, fresh thinking, so we are looking forward to seeing them bring a step change to yet another of our iconic brands.”
Wieden+Kennedy ECD Tony Davidson says: “It is always nice when a strong relationship leads to other opportunities. Having worked with Brown-Forman on Maximus and Finlandia Vodka and Southern Comfort, we are very excited about the creative opportunity on Chambord.”
