Why don’t ad agencies walk the walk and advertise themselves? The (airtime) money? They don’t want to fall on their noses with no client to blame for a bad ad? It doesn’t work? Charles and Maurice’s Saatchi & Saatchi launched itself with a full page ad in the Sunday Times Business News back in the day and that seems to have worked.
Anyway, Evanston, Illinois, agency Ungar Group has advertised on local TV in the US in the past and it’s back with this thirty second ad in Mad Men, which ran in the Chicago area.
Do clients watch Mad Men? Hope so.
