Rapport ex-boss Roy Jeans reveals first clients at new advisory company Grey Scorpion

Unknown-3Former Rapport CEO Roy Jeans (left) has set up a new company, Grey Scorpion, to provide a range of services to media-based businesses including interim management, negotiation and investment support.

Jeans, a former executive director at Zenith, quit Interpublic-owned out of home agency Rapport last year, a move that surprised the industry as he had just been named as global CEO of Rapport following a successful eight years at the helm in London, during which it handled the UK’s two biggest out of home advertisers, Samsung and Sky.

Grey Scorpion is already advising Symbiosis, an event management company where Jeans has agreed to be non-exec chairman, and TNT Post (Doordrop Media) which has ambitious plans to build doordrop as a recognised medium in its own right.

He is also advising Brilliant Basics, the digital design company started by former senior Mediabrands exec Anand Verma, which now has more than 60 staff following a series of new business wins.
