MullenLowe’s Amazon Prime debut says ‘Epic can’t wait’

Amazon’s roster of agencies – and its advertising budget – seems to be getting bigger all the time. This is MullenLowe London’s first work for Amazon Prime Video, which is currently running in Spain and France.

The four ads ramp up the urgency of Amazon’s Prime services with the line, “Epic Can’t Wait” (“Le Spectaculaire N’Attend Pas” in French), placing everyday objects – the kind that are available for next day delivery on Amazon – inside the Prime Video content that you can stream any time. The shows featured are American Gods, Good Omens, Hanna, and New Amsterdam.

MullenLowe’s relationship with Amazon Prime Video covers mainland Europe, while Droga5 works on the UK business, for which it created the “Great shows stay with you” campaign.

Amazon’s annual Prime Day is on 15th and 16th July this year, when new deals come up every few minutes, increasing the sense of urgency to “epic” proportions indeed. This year the day is ushered in with a live-streamed concert for Prime members headlined by Taylor Swift.
