Watch with Mother: Yopa whips up a storm and KFC has Brexit advice for Theresa May

Yopa said it wanted to challenge the norm when it appointed Mother last year, and that’s exactly what’s happened.

The online estate agent’s “Smooth Move” line is brought to life by a man who performs domestic chores with the crack of a whip, but still thinks that Yopa is smoother than he is. The action is played out against the soundtrack of 80s classic, “Whip It” by Devo.

Yopa’s CMO Pippa Heywood worked with Mother when she was a marketer at Moneysupermarket, and the similarities in style are clear. Director Tom Kuntz is also back on the team.

Heywood said: “Yopa’s aim is to help every customer have a smooth move. Our new brand idea and first advert is just one way of exploring an idea that we’re excited to roll our across multiple channels and continue evolving in the future with Mother.”

It certainly stands out, but then so do rival Zoopla’s talking crabs. Look forward to seeing where Yopa’s campaign goes next.

    The KFC ad is a lovely concept, ruined by the terms & conditions. A bit like Brexit.
