Happy Christmas and an empowering New Year

It has been, as they say, a funny old year: the Brits battling with Brexit (in which contest everybody seems to be on different sides) and, in adland, famous names including JWT, Y&R and WCRS disappearing (as individual entities anyway.)

Latterly in London Jason Gonsalves has departed as Mcgarrybowen CEO (another BBH high flyer who’s found life rather more arduous outside) and we read that Publicis Media is having a spat with Channel 4 over airtime costs – but agency falls out with C4 over these is a hardy perennial.

Wonderbra is trying to grab a little attention by bringing back a version of its famous ‘Hello Boys’ poster but this time it’s in the cause of women’s empowerment (we expect no less.)

With that (and it being Christmas Day tomorrow) it’s off to make a much needed cash injection into the British high street.

And to wish all our readers (lots more of them this year, all over the world) a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
