Ice cream ads are usually filled with sunshine and happy days, but this ad for Snickers ice cream, by CLM BBDO in Paris, has a darker tinge.
In a gloomy sitting room, two nervous teenagers down a Snickers ice cream bar together. It’s intense but not in the erotic, Haagen Dazs style of old. Instead it’s more like real adolescent fumbling and it’s all over with very quickly.
The ad is launching first in Germany, then rolling out across Europe and into Russia and Australia.
