Adobe’s film in reverse by Pereira O’Dell divides opinion
Much of the best creativity (some would say just about all of it) is coming from tech companies these days. Why? They’ve got the budget and at the top end of the market a healthy business model. They’re also willing to take chances.
Here’s Adobe Creative Cloud, Pereira O’Dell and director Zach Braff making a film in reverse, starting with the poster (the result of a competition), enlisting Alicia Silverstone and others to poke fun at social media influencers (we think.)
Nicely done. Is it just self-indulgence from a tech company with lots of money? The Drum’s readers (reader?) gave it 0 out of 5.
No, it’s fun to watch and that reflects on Adobe.
MAA creative scale: 7.5.
