BBDO France’s new ad for Ubisoft expands gaming’s horizons

Are gaming ads proper ads? They’re obviously an excuse for an agency and its chosen film makers to have fun (and there aren’t many of those these days), with few of the constraints most ads have.

BBDO France has gone further though in this launch ad for Ubisoft’s Starlink – Battle for Atlas with a story about a young boy becoming a space warrior (did he mean to?), with some decent acting. Produced by Wanda.

Too many nines this month but you get one if the ad is as good as it could be, whatever the brief.

And this ad is very good.
