W+K Tokyo crafts another winner from Shiseido

Japanese beauty company Shiseido is launching a new range Waso (or WASO, still sounds funny although it’s based on a Japanese philosophy it seems), aimed at those pesky millennials.

So Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo along with directing collective Dvein and production company Blinkink have created an undeniably beautiful film, telling us that “all things beautiful come from nature.”

There’s lots of other stuff including some striking print photography from Viviane Sassen.

Shiseido clearly knows what it’s about, producing a real cracker in-house a couple of years ago.

But the Kennedys have done them proud here. Will surely win some craft awards.

MAA creative scale: 9 (Another one – see below. Not supposed to happen in August.)
