More change at MullenLowe as Boston boss Cottrill leaves
They don’t let the grass grow under anyone’s feet at MullenLowe.
Now AgencySpy reports that Geoff Cottrill (left), president of the network’s flagship Boston office is on his way just a year after joining with much hoopla from Converse where he was CMO. Cottrill had also worked at Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble and Starbucks. At MullenLowe he replaced Kristin Cavallo who also left in somewhat smoky circumstances.
In the UK most of the old management of the DLKW agency have also left since the merger into MullenLowe with execs from its digital agency Profero taking over, led by new CEO Dale Gall. Tom Knox, outgoing president of the IPA, is the only DLKW founder left.
Last month the agency appointed the president of its creative council Jose Miguel Sokoloff as CCO in London. Sokoloff founded the network’s agency in Colombia.
MullenLowe has actually been performing well on the new business front, named by consultancy R3 as the top performer in global new business in March. In London, though, it’s still showing the strain of losing the big Morrisons supermarket account.
