Hijacking Super Bowl ads (it’s on Sunday) is a traditional American activity for those who don’t want to pay $1m for five seconds – or whatever the rates are now.
Here’s an interesting wheeze by SoCal Honda, Honda’s dealers in Southern California. They will donate various amounts to local Boys & Girls Clubs if certain cliches appear in Bowl ads – which they’re certain to do.
