Is the new Dos Equis man as interesting as the last?

Dos Equis beer has a “new most interesting man in the world,” French actor Augustin Legrand who’s taken over from long-serving Jonathan Goldsmith.

Here he is doing interesting things (they hope so anyway) in a new campaign from Havas Worldwide.

Here’s Goldsmith’s version (from Euro RSCG before it was rebranded as Havas).

The new one’s slicker, younger (obviously) but is he better?
