Content factory Brothers and Sisters creates unsung film ‘hero’ for Pearl & Dean debut

Brothers and Sisters makes its debut for cinema ad company Pearl & Dean with this near three minute film, ‘Back of the Head’ featuring ‘back of the head’ actor Chad Jackson. It debuts in new film Entourage which opens in the UK tomorrow (Friday).

The film was directed by Ninian Duff of Pulse films and is the first collaboration between head of comedy Lucy Robinson, working with B&S creative directors Will Flack and Aaron Willmer.

Pearl & Dean CEO Kathryn Jacob says: “We have always aimed to excite the cinema-going public with fresh ideas. This film stops you in your tracks, as you get engrossed in Chad Jackson’s story. His narrative rightly draws you in, as the piece celebrates the unseen heroes behind the scenes in any film, in a clever, contemporary way; its wry humour will appeal to our audience.”

B&S founder and ECD Andy Fowler says: “There’s as much craft gone into the writing and making of this film as Chad Jackson puts into his back of the head performances. Made by film lovers for film lovers.”

It’s a neat idea but will it fly?

Film buffs are likely to see ‘Back of the Head’ more than once so it’s presumably correct not to put all the comedy goodies in the shop window for first viewing.

MAA creative scale…phew. Difficult as this really is content, not an ad: 7.

Brothers and Sisters seems to be ahead of this content lark; with this and the new Carphone Warehouse channel featuring Keith Lemon.
