Travel club Secret Escapes, which boasts that it can save 70 per cent on posh hotels and the like, departed Big Al’s Creative Emporium for Karmarama last year.
And Karamarama has produced yet another hashtag-led campaign – #SMUGFACE – which have well and truly taken over the UK marketing scene.
Secret Escapes CEO Alex Saint says: “Now feels like the right time to launch our latest TV advertising campaign with the newly appointed, Karmarama, to showcase the breadth of the holidays we have to offer.
“Our members love sharing stories of their surprise and excitement when they manage to snap up luxury holiday at up to 70 per cent off so we wanted to have some fun in capturing this sentiment in our new series TV creative, using the hashtag #SMUGFACE.”
You can see the point, travel is truly an online business these days with outfits like Trip Advisor exercising a massive influence.
We do rather miss Big Al’s flighty heroine though.
Maybe some other crafty travel company will sign her up.
