The Monkeys goes bats for Australia’s BCF

BCF (Boating Camping and Fishing online store) in Australia don’t shirk trouble in their ads and the latest – from Accenture-owned The Monkeys – has caused a predictable storm as it shows one of the happy campers, holidaying in Australia amid Covid-19 travel restrictions, eating a bat sandwich.

“Shaz is a bit upset that somebody ate a bat” it says.

Eating bats is frowned upon in some locations.

“It’s been a crazy year, so in true BCF fashion we’ve taken the opportunity to have a bit of anthemic fun with the situation,” says The Monkeys Melbourne CCO Ant Keogh.

Ripper all round we’d say (although may have to be adapted if it makes it to China.)
