M&C Saatchi is fully back in business it seems after its shares were suspended in the wake of an accounting scandal – they’ve bounced back to 80p compared to a year low of 27.5p – and about-to-be-annointed CEO Moray MacLennan is still busy across the world, buying smallish South Africa agency Dalmatian Digital.
M&C will own 50.1 per cent with founders with the remainder in the hands of directors and staff. The agency will be aligned with, but separate from, M&C Saatchi Abel.
MacLennan, who currently runs M&C’s diverse international network, takes over as CEO of everything in January on the departure of founders David Kershaw, Bill Muirhead and Jeremy Sinclair.
