McCann hits the right patriotic note for Vauxhall

Vauxhall is one of those anomalies of British life (elsewhere it’s Opel), one that might disappear if Boris’ Brexiters get their way.

And, somehow or other, there are few things more British than men in vans (and women of course, but they’re mostly men.)

McCann hymns these doughty patriots with bits of doughty patriotism, from Henry V to Churchill. Boris will be using it as a crib for his speeches.

Ford has tried this patriotic riff for its vans before but this is better. And McCann is near the top of its game.

MAA creative scale: 8.

  1. Hello,

This idea was thought of, created, worked on and produced by the McCann Milton Keynes office, not McCann London 🙂

  2. More power to MC/MK

  3. Not a single accent other than English in this advert is a poor show, Britain is more than England!

Short sighted advert cashing in on the Brexit madness.
