Droga5 London’s new campaign for Amazon Prime sums up internet shopping perfectly: it’s all about scrolling through your phone, getting lost in the fantasy, then thinking “sod it” and making the purchase.
These four ads also make the very important point that — just like books and echo dots — fashion and home furnishings are delivered free with Amazon Prime.
Set to a series of classic 80s and 90s ballads, including “Is This Love” by Whitesnake and “Eternal Flame” by The Bangles, the four ads feature different shoppers getting carried away over a chair, a jacket, a dress and a bed.
Amazon is turning into a great client for Droga5, whose recent campaign for Amazon Prime Video, “Great Shows Stay With You” was also a success. They may even find themselves competing with Lucky Generals to make the Super Bowl spot next year.
