Why Budweiser’s ‘blowin’ in the wind’ at the Super Bowl
Budweiser usually makes the most of the Super Bowl and it’s grabbing headlines way before the event by hymning that it’s now produced by wind power – helped along by Bob Dylan’s ‘Blowin’ in the wind.’
It’s also got more Clydesdales than last year, for those who care about such things.
‘Blowin’ in the wind’ was the most famous so-called ‘protest’ song of its era, although Dylan didn’t agree with the description. Presumably he’s OK about wind power.
So a controversial choice by agency David – but it seems to have done the trick.
