Aldi’s Christmas spirit is at home in the outback

Aldi seems to have got the knack of this advertising lark.

In the UK Kevin the carrot’s annual Christmas adventures, courtesy of McCann, seem to captivate the nation and in Australia agency BMF usually comes up with something interesting.

This time it’s an accident-prone Santa put back on his sledge by a bunch of good-hearted outbackers.

Corny but ticks all the boxes with a twist. Aldi is good at populist advertising, handy if you’re a supermarket.
