Adidas recycles ‘creators’ into ocean pollution drive

Adidas is for “creators,” or do it’s been telling us for the last couple of years.

In one instance by showing dozens of its star sports properties (and David Beckham) sitting around looking all, well, creative.

But now it’s decided to do something useful by seeking to combat plastic pollution of the oceans by designing Real Madrid’s third kit (how many do they need?) from recycled plastic, the most realistic alternative to such pollution.

Mind you, clothing firms like Adidas are reckoned to supply a lot of the stuff that makes it into the ocean in the first place.

But it’s a good wheeze and may actually make a difference in a sports-mad world. And the coral pink kit (geddit?) looks very nice.

MAA creative scale: 7.
