Galaxy offers escape from modern life in new BBDO effort

Another ad featuring the dsystopian nature of modern life, this time from AMV BBDO/BBDO New York for Mars’ Galaxy (Dove in the US).

Last time out in 2013 (quite a big gap) Galaxy resurrected Audrey Hepburn courtesy of CGI. This time it’s living Jade Anouka, an activist, poet and actress.

And she’s a strong woman, escaping the horrors of modern digital life (technology’s “rabbit hole” according to Mars) by tucking into a Galaxy bar.

The new one makes more of a case for Galaxy than the old one, so that’s a result. But do role models most people haven’t heard of do the business?
