Former Y&R boss Clive Holland returns to agency mainstream as chairman of Futureproof
It’s always good to see an industry vet back on the scene and Clive Holland, a former chairman of Y&R in its pre-WPP days and also MD of Grey Global, has resurfaced as chairman of London creative agency Futureproof.
Holland says: “Futureproof is the most exciting and dynamic small agency I have seen recently. In terms of their creativity, thinking and energy level they are ready to play in the premier league of agencies and I look forward to helping them get there.”
Futureproof clients include Enterprise Inns, World Vision, Diageo, Comic Relief, Metro International Newspapers and Hovis and the agency was recently appointed to handle the creative advertising for The View from the Shard, London’s tallest building.
Holland has ben running his own consultancy for the past five years. A seasoned account man, he handled pharma giant GSK at Grey, overseeing about £20m of income for the WPP-owned shop.
