Google meltdown: Arthur Sadoun is ‘desolé’ as he is forced to postpone Michelle Obama’s star turn

On a day of many disappointments (London and other parts of south east UK went back into lockdown) Publicis Groupe had an extra bit of bad news to contend with: its much-anticipated online event with Michelle Obama had to be postponed due to the worldwide Google outage.

So Arthur Sadoun took to Google-owned YouTube to explain the rescheduling plans and suggest we should all be less dependent on platforms. Unless, presumably, it’s the group’s own platform, Marcel.
