Adam&eve takes John Lewis route for Lloyds’ black horses
Lloyds Bank and adam&eveDDB are still resolutely horsing around, this time with an “inter-generational” ad showing a big one and a young one.
A&E has pulled out all the John Lewis-style emotional stops for this one – blessedly without gawping humans to get in the way.
Maybe it’s a play on “bank of mum and dad.”
The UK banking market is a funny old thing: everyone wants “challenger” banks but they keep mucking it up – Metro Bank with a raft of travails, the re-incarnated TSB with a computer meltdown.
So maybe a nice film about horses is just what Dr Horta-Osório ordered.
