Fosters is back with its first TV campaign for four years from adam&eveDDB, featuring popular ockers Brad and Dan. Strangely enough, Brad and Dan won the IPA Effectiveness Awards Grand Prix back in 2014, which seems to have prompted owner Heineken to can TV advertising. Funny old world.
Maybe Brad and Dan weren’t sufficiently purpose-driven.
Anyway here they are (again) helping hapless Brits get it together from their sun-bleached but wired hut on the beach. This time by taking a pop at craft beers and their proponents (not usually Fosters fans.)
There’s a young lady too, fulfilling her sex’s historic role in the Brad and Dan-iverse.
Will the latter provoke a Twitter storm? One suspects Fosters and the agency wouldn’t mind if she did.
Pleasingly old skool.
