Upscale British fashion house Burberry appears on the way back after a rocky couple of years – burning pricey unsold garments for a start – so we expect something spectacular at Christmas.
It’s certainly throwing a lot of celebs at us in this effort from Juno Calypso – Matt Smith, a gloomy Kristin Scott Thomas, Naomi Campbell and mum Valerie – but the effect, doubtless intentionally, is somewhat chilly.
Fashion and fashionistas inhabit a planet of their own of course but you expect a bit more from all this talent. Some of them are actors, after all.
