Three 100 Year-Olds Pick Up The Mic For Channel 4 Suffragette Centenary

As well as celebrating the centenary of women’s right to vote, Channel 4 is striking a blow for older women on TV.

Millie, Beattie and Margaret — all born in 1918 — will introduce programmes throughout Channel 4’s #vote100 week, starting with the film “Suffragette” on 3rd February.

This film by in-house agency 4Creative introduces the three women, and will be screened alongside shows commissioned to mark the gender equality milestone. Let’s hope Channel 4 minded the gender pay gap when taking on the three star centenarians.
