Adam&eveDDB tries extra cheese for Mars’ Temptations

Adam&eveDDB advertises Mars Temptations cat treats in the US and this somewhat frivolous (some might say entirely useless and stupid) product invites an over-the-top approach. Which it gets in spades with a new version of Simple Minds’ Don’t You (Forget About Me) from Electric Furs, replete with lots of miaows.

All done as a cheesy 1980s pop video.

Often, though, the broadcast cut-down is a disappointment.

Which actually works rather well.

It isn’t an ad to save the world, encourage diversity or even a sensible way of treating cats.

But if it’s cat treats you’re flogging it could hardly be done better.
